Founded by Hayley Sullivan Marrero, SBC merges high-touch styling services with proprietary wardrobe intelligence tools to deliver a seamless, tech-enabled luxury experience.

Our Founder operates at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and technology. This role sits at the center of that ecosystem — ensuring operations, projects, and communication flow with precision and elegance.

    The Role

We are seeking a highly organized, emotionally intelligent, and proactive Executive & Personal Assistant to support the Founder & CEO across business and household domains.

The ideal candidate is three steps ahead, a natural systems builder who thrives in fast-moving, detail-heavy environments. You’ll manage information, people, and processes with both warmth and authority, balancing luxury-level discretion with startup-level speed.

This is not a traditional support role — it is a strategic operational partnership for a leader balancing global business growth, high-profile partnerships, and an expanding personal ecosystem.

    Core Responsibilities

    Executive Support

    • Manage a highly active calendar across multiple time zones with precision and foresight.

    • Manage correspondence, projects, and document organization on behalf of the CEO.

    • Oversee daily email triage, ensuring inboxes are prioritized, summarized, and actioned providing executive clarity each morning.

    • Anticipate upcoming needs for meetings, travel, and projects; prepare briefing materials, participants’ bios and talking points.

    • Coordinate cross-functional communication with internal leaders (CRO, Finance Director, Brand Director, CTO, PR) ensuring follow-through on all deliverables.

    Project Management

    • Serve as project manager across personal, household, and company initiatives.

    • Track deadlines, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple active projects (home rebuild, brand initiatives, client events, travel).

    • Develop systems to close operational gaps and increase efficiency.

    • Liaise with the Finance Director to manage invoices, receipts, expense tracking, and vendor payments.

    Personal & Household Management

    • Oversee all household logistics, property schedules, and vendor relationships (contractors, cleaners, maintenance, etc.).

    • Manage mail: open, annotate, and record items requiring action in shared task systems.

    • Coordinate travel, family schedules, and personal appointments.

    • Support household finances: bill tracking, vendor payments, reimbursements, and expense categorization.

    • Manage packing, wardrobe logistics, and coordination for travel and events.

    AI & Systems Enablement

    • Use (or be willing to learn) AI tools including Google Gemini and ChatGPT for drafting, scheduling, and task organization.

    • Build digital dashboards that integrate email, calendar, and project views.

    • Implement workflow automations for scheduling, reminders, and document filing.

    Communication & Representation

    • Handle all external communication with discretion, tact, and professionalism.

    • Represent the CEO and brand with polish in all interactions with clients, partners, and vendors.

    • Uphold confidentiality standards expected of a high-profile, luxury environment.

    What Success Looks Like

    • Inbox and calendar operate seamlessly.

    • The Founder’s time is protected, focused, and optimized.

    • Every project has a clear owner, timeline, and next action.

    • Vendor and household operations run predictably, documented in live systems.
Communication is always concise, proactive, and polished.

    The Ideal Candidate

    • 7+ years of experience supporting a high-level executive, preferably in luxury fashion, creative, or technology environments.

    • Demonstrated excellence in project management, calendar/email management, and operational systems.

    • Calm under pressure, unflappable, and solutions-oriented.

    • Naturally anticipatory — sees needs before they’re spoken.

    • Tech-forward and curious, eager to leverage AI and automation for efficiency.

    • Clear writer and communicator who thrives on precision.

    • Deep discretion, emotional intelligence, and an intuitive understanding of boundaries.

    • Professional polish with warmth — the ability to move fluidly between boardrooms, fittings, and family settings.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

    • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace, and project management tools (Asana, Airtable, or similar).

    • Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

    • Must be Los Angeles-based with flexibility for occasional travel.

    • Strong references attesting to discretion, work ethic, and grace under pressure.\

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Salary range: $100,000–$140,000 DOE.

    • Full health benefits.

    • Generous paid time off.

    • 401(k) matching.

  • The Styled by Collective is a fashion-tech company on the frontier of transforming personalized styling and inventory management in the luxury retail space. Blending elite human expertise with advanced technology, we’re building a new infrastructure for how people shop, style, and manage their wardrobes.

As we evolve from private client services to SaaS, our proprietary platform—Sartoria—is redefining consignment and ERP operations by enabling secure, scalable, and data-driven styling at scale. Sartoria isn’t just a digital wardrobe; it’s the trust infrastructure powering high-touch, high-value experiences across retail, logistics, and luxury service.

    What We’re Building

Our ERP and inventory system solves problems traditional platforms ignore:

    • Blind Inventory & Consignment Ordering: Tracks high-value transactions (often $100K–$300K+) in environments without upfront payment or POS-based records, offering retailers, stylists, and clients a secure, verifiable pipeline.

    • Retailer & Personal Shopping Integration: Consolidates purchases across Net-a-Porter, Saks, Moda Operandi, etc., allowing AI-assisted recommendations and in-store experiences where client wishlists become real-time pre-selections.

    • Payment & Compliance Innovation: Solves compliance and manual credit workflows with a fintech-integrated architecture designed for blind inventory commerce—improving both speed and security.

We’re at a pivotal moment: building a category-defining product that solves backend inefficiencies while delivering world-class UX to our discerning client base. You’ll work directly with our CTO as the first engineering hire, owning platform architecture, implementation, and scale from day one.

Our Stack: Full-stack TypeScript (via React and Bun/Node.js), PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, AWS, Temporal

Location: Remote. Full-time, US-based applicants only (within contiguous US timezones)

    What You’ll Do

    • Help lead the design and implementation of our next-gen digital wardrobe and ERP system

    • Develop performant front-ends and scalable, secure back-ends—powering everything from styling algorithms to fintech integrations.

    • Tackle hard problems in consignment logic, high-value transaction handling, and real-time inventory reconciliation.

    • Establish engineering best practices, performance standards, and an ethos rooted in craft, ownership, education, and velocity.

You’re a Great Fit If You

    • Thrive in a fast-paced, zero-bureaucracy environment that rewards initiative, ownership, and hard work

    • Want the rare opportunity to help build an ambitious greenfield product with massive market potential

    • Are excited about creating full stack systems that actually make businesses run

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

    • 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience

    • 3+ years shipping consumer-facing products

    • Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript, and at least one other statically typed language

    • Proficiency with a SQL database (does not need to be PostgreSQL)

    • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders

    • A passion for product, an eye for detail, and a bias for action

    • A good understanding of how to use LLMs responsibly and the perils of blindly consuming their output

    Bonus Points

    • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure

    • Experience with macOS (we are not currently maintaining local environments on other OSes, sorry!)

    • Prior startup experience

    • Interest in fashion or styling (not required—our team has that covered, and yes, we have merch 😎)

    • Competitive Comp Package: Salary + meaningful equity

    • Full Benefits: Health insurance, 401k, unlimited PTO

    • Impact & Ownership: First engineering hire with full-stack autonomy and product influence

    • Proven Growth: 7-figure ARR business with high-net-worth clients and strong market demand
